Here are links to the three recommended Search Engines:

Click on Logos for Each Site.

Google and its name has become a part of the language.    Its current search engine automatically gives websites that Google determines is the best for terms used in your particular search.  As with all search engines, be as precise as possible.  However, you may find that too many words lead you nowhere.  If you put quotes around the words that means you want exactly those words in that order.  It is not the whole Internet but is very useful for most searches.   Google has a new service of offering a personal page much like Yahoo.

AllTheweb is literally the Whole Internet  It was the principal search engine used in putting together the many links included on this website. However, it is the Whole Internet and can give more sites than you can possibly handle.  For example, if you type the word "God", you might get ten million hits.   Therefore be very specific and always put quotes around a phrase to help this search engine.

ALLTHEWEB does not offer personalize page services.

One of the oldest search engines is Yahoo has become more than a search engine.  It is a community much like MSN and AOL.  It contains only an estimated 35% of the Internet.  However, it contains much more including many on-line communities and chats.  It is the principal chat site where you can sign up and personalize your needs.  For sophisticated Christian research it is not the recommended search engine.
