In the year 2000, the United Nations has set the year 2015 as the target date for achieving progress in the 8 Millennium Development Goals.  The National Episcopal Church has joined with the United Nations in raising awareness about and funding for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).  All Saints and Episcopal Parishes across the country and each contributing to progress on the Millennium Development Goals.  We want to involve as many in our congregation our friends, neighbors and fellow workers with out MDG project.  All Saints Episcopal Church San Francisco has chosen to build a well in Zambia. We plan to partner with the Anglican Diocese of Central Zambia to accomplish this.  Contributors of $20 or more will receive a Paper Mache bowl made by HIV+ women in Cape Town South Africa, as a Thank You. (The bowls help support their families and pay for anti-retroviral drugs.)  If you wish to contribute through our parish please contact us:

By contributing through our efforts, qualing .07% of our income, we want to help transform a village by funding the construction of a well. A new well will promote the following MDGs:
　

　

    Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger;

     

    Promote gender equality and empower women

     

    Achieve universal primary education;

     

    Reduce child mortality;

     

    Improve maternal health;

     

    Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases

     

    Ensure environmental stability;

     

    Develop a global partnership for development.
